For those of us who don't always like to use the MVF-1 as their main way to view the image, it would be great if there was a small 1x2" wedged piece of metal that fit in the MVB-1 receptacle with a 1/4-20 screw on it that could attach 1/4-20 side mount monitors (like the SmallHD 502, etc). That way we could use the fluid tilt of the MVB-1 with a monitor right there, and it would be quick release and all. If Arri doesn't come out with one, I think it would be a pretty easy thing for someone to machine if they knew how to do that sort of thing.

They have a bunch of them for different cameras there might be one that suits you.

As Michael has stated above there are several Viewfinder Brackets available from ARRI. You can find them along with pretty much all our other accessories in the configuration overview located here:
https://www.arri.com/camera/alexa/tools ... overviews/

The relevant page for these is labeled 6.2.0 Accessories for 3rd Party Cameras under "Support Systems"

oh wow, I'm so glad I wrote about this, I had no idea those existed, so thank you. I don't see one that would really work with the SmallHD 503 directly (or the 502/702, etc). I've never been keen on that sidefinder at all. I'm sure the rosette one for the Zacuto would work on a monitor to a degree but scratch up the side of the monitor. Wish Arri would make one with a 1/4-20 (and ideally one for SmallHD that had those 2 locating pin holes). Or am I not seeing something (again, haha).
thanks!
