Card Corruption with Power Loss

If the Amira loses power during recording the card becomes corrupted and says it needs to be formatted.

This is terrifying and honestly makes me often want to avoid shooting longer clips in the case that something goes wrong. I have only had it happen once but is there work for future firmwares to include that in features so that maybe just that clip can be corrupted but not the entire card? Let me know and appreciate the support.

I feel your pain. Lost a card during the first week of ownership. I was formatting a card while the battery was low and it powered down. The card was corrupted and couldn't be restored. I had to replace the card and now I'm uber careful about formatting cards with a healthy battery.
