Amira losing system date/time with each power cycle
My Amira is losing the system date/time each time the camera is powered down. The date reverts to 2016 each time. Anybody else noticed this problem or know how to fix it?

Re: Amira losing system date/time with each power cycle
Hi Kirk,
The Date and Time are kept using power from a 3V CR1225 battery. While I have not heard of it happening it could have come loose and therefore does not supply power to the internal clock. The battery is located on the board of the camera right side. If you are confident it can be accessed by only removing the right side panel. If you are hesitant about opening the camera please take it to one of our service centers and we will be happy to help you out.

Thanks for the reply Silvan! I suspected an internal battery but couldn't find anything in the manual about it. Kirk
