Question regarding the Arri BPA-3 rosette on Amira:
I bought a SmallRig handgrip and rosette arm to attach to BPA-3, but the mounting hole seems to be too short to tighten either onto the camera. Is there a rigging solution to this or did I purchase the wrong accessories?

Edit: BPA-3 bridgeplate not BP-9

Hi Alex,
there could be two reasons:
- the screw of the SmallRig handgrip is too long (longer than usual)
- the thread of the ARRI plate is not deep enough
Please get in touch with our service department (service@arri.de). If you have the possibility to send it to our service department they can check if it is the first or the second reason. Either or, if you want to use the SmallRig hand grip I think the tread could be made a bit deeper.
Have your tried to mount a hand grip from another company on the ARRI plate or the hand grip from SmallRig to another rosette?
All the best,
