I just bought SXU-1, AMC-1 and Cforce+. I like it very much.
I played around with all the menus then i found a scale unit on AMC-1.
It says metric or imperial.
Does that mean if I use wcu-4 and amc-. I can read distance on wcu4?
Can somebody explain the differences in terms of functions betwen WCU-4/AMC-1/C+ and WCU-4/UMC-4/C+?

Dear Stephanus,
AMC-1 vs. UMC-4A:
AMC-1
- controls LBUS Motors
- connects to the Mater Grips
more here
UMC-4A
- controls classic CLMs (CLM 2, 3, 4 or 5)
- gathers lens meta data
- connects to ZMU
more here
Distance readout on WCU-4
In order to see the distance read-out on your WCU-4 you need a LDS camera (like ALEXA with PLUS module or ALEXA Mini) which "broadcasts" the LDS for all connected devices. A UMC-4 can do the same thing, it gets the lens data form the built-in Lens Data Archive (LDA) (since 3rd party cameras do not support metadata via the lens mount to our LDS/UMC).
Best regards,
Jan
