I have been trying to research this error on the Alexa Mini when a fresh CFast card is inserted into it:

Binary clip table on medium is corrupt. Please backup and erase card.

On one occasion it was reformatted and worked properly.

On others formatting failed.

Any info on this error would be appreciated.

This error will come up if you switch from one SUP to another. If it keeps popping up for one particular card, I recommend to regularly read the SMART information (e.g. using Drive DX) from the card and keep track of errors or retired block count. If formatting fails, that could be caused by defective flash on the card.

Look for something like:
UDMA_CRC_Error_count
Hardware_ECC
Reallocated sector count (it's OK to have a few, but the number should not increment with every use)
