ARRI Reference Tool (ART) Metadata

Hi, good afternoon.

I have a question regarding Arri reference tool app which is:

as i think it's not possible to do it now...
i ask if in a near future it will be possible to export into a document, like a pdf for instance,
the metadata regarding the video files which is shown on ART on the metadata column.

Hi Nuna,

I will forward your Feature Request to our Product Manager for ART. I don't think there will be a PDF export.
In case you need a Copy Report incl. Metadata I suggest to use Pomfort Silverstack. It can read all our metadata and it's possible to generate PDF reports with thumbnails, camera metadata, LDS metadata etc.

thanks for your answer.
Yes, i know that silverstack can read and export arri metadata reports...and other formats...
i was just asking, first because the metadata shown in ART is super complete,
second, because i think it would be a very useful and a nice "add on" to include on ART...
if ART can read it, why not export it..? even if it was just text...
In my opinion Arri has already the right tool to do it....
why not taking better advantage of ARRI METADATA EXTRACT capabilities...? which seems to me a bit forgotten in time....
maybe merge both on a single app...? ...just an idea...
and third because most of, if not all, applications that can read Arri footage metadata are payed applications....and some are really not cheap....
....like silverstack....
just a thought....
