Serious issue: Dark bars after panning past flare.

I have a Mini with 1400 hours on it. This has gone into ARRI service twice. The second time it came back, I noticed that should you pan past a light's flare or veiling point, positioned on frame right / camera left, a shadow appears almost like a sensor shadow. This happens on the other side as well. Obviously don't have on any aspect bars or custom overlays in either. This is recorded to all footage, so that makes the shot useless.

Additionally, my MVF-1 monitor has now looks all green and when the lens is opened, highlights blow out, almost like a false color.

Anyone have any of these issues?

Your first issue is is caused by the gate of the camera cutting the light. Normal.

It’s totally normal. Use a mattebox with a correct mask.
