Hello,
thank you for taking the time to read my post.
I've been provided with 4068 x 3164 footage that I need to use in Resolve but it appears squeezed.
I watched the ARRI Tech Talk: ALEXA 35 Grading and Look Management video on YouTube in which the presenter deals with 4068 x 3164 footage at about 2 mins and 20 secs in the video.
The footage doesn't appear squeezed for him and he says that Resolve already understand Alex 35 footage however this is not the case for me.
I've attached a screenshot showing what I mean. Any help would be much appreciated please.

Dear Jerome,
your footage was shot spherical in Open Gate? So you should not see anything squeezed in Resolve.
The timeline matches your footage -> nothing should cropped/letterboxed etc.
Either it has been shot anamorphic and the lens squeeze factor in-camera is being read/applied by Resolve.
Or it was shot spherical and the lens squeeze factor has been set by accident. You can change this within the clip properties (rightclick on all clips). Set it to an aspect ratio 1.0.
Also you could have a look at the clip using the ARRI Reference Tool to see what's going on.
Kind regards,
Jan
