I recently purchased an Alexa Classic on Ebay with 1500 hours. I noticed a vertical fixed pattern noise that appears on dark areas of the image, especially when under exposed. It appears in the sky when shooting outside sometimes. Indoor shooting is tricky, seems fine when you properly light the image, but the banding can be apparent when you pan the camera. Is this normal for this camera? If not, is it fixable or did I buy a faulty camera? I've included some screen grabs, I completely stopped down on one to show the fixed pattern noise. I could also send a vimeo link if these screengrabs aren't enough to tell much. Thanks for your help!

Dear shaqattack,
no, this is not normal. There seems to be an issue with the calibration of the camera. You should get in touch with a nearby ARRI Service Station (https://www.arri.com/en/technical-servi ... al+Service).
Best regards,
Andreas Berkl
