Hi there, I've spent some time trying to use the legacy look creator to make ALF1 files to load into my Alexa Classic. Unfortunately, the program won't successfully open the grabs from the camera, even though they seem to be in the right format, captured the right way etc.
Does anyone have any looks sitting on their hard drives? I'd love to have a black and white, and some variety of contrasts, and anything else anyone may have.
Or does anyone know what the trick is to making that old program work? I feel like I've tried everything.
All the best and thanks for your time,
Lu

I’m sorry but the ARRI Look Creator is officially not supported anymore.
I know there is still this version online and can be used on older macOS systems, but it’s not tested anymore and therefore I’m not sure if there are any issues with it.
In the installer there should be some sample DPX files. I assume DPX, 10bit, 2K 16by9 with 2048x1152 should work, since the sample files have that resolution. So maybe a resize can help here when rendering or exporting.
Maybe it’s worth mentioning that Lattice can export an approximation ARRI Look File 1 (*.xml) file.
