Hi,

I'm about to purchase a couple of used Skypanels.

What should I check on the panels before committing to the purchase ?

Are there known issues/bugs with these panels that I need to be aware of ?

Are there counterfeit units of these, and if so, how would I recognize them ?

Any input appreciated !

On each of the fixtures a label with product number, product name and serial number should be found. This is the unique Identity a fixture gets. And this product number and serial number should be able be tracked in previous purchasing documents.
Another thing you can alway do is updating the the fixture with latest FW. That will facilitate the fixture with all latest feature and easily find out if it is a counterfeit units. No counterfeit units can be update by ARRI FW. So far the counterfeit units and "look like" units are very different to real ones, from design to quality level.
