Preventing Damage to SDI Outputs

Hello all,
Cameras and accessories with SDI connections can be damaged when connecting power cables. To avoid this, follow our safe cable connecting rules:
1. When connecting: FIRST connect power cables, THEN BNC.
2. When disconnecting: FIRST disconnect BNC, THEN power.
Also helpful is using shielded power cables and avoiding D-Tap connectors, since D-Tap connectors are made out of plastic and therefore cannot support a shield.
