I have CAP enabled and am in host mode. I can see the camera on my phone wifi but when I click on it it has a check mark but says no internet connection and web remote does not connect. Any ideas? My regular mini works fine

Me as well. Set up just as you described. On a Macbook Pro, the wifi pull-down menu indicates I'm connected, but the "strength" symbol in the toolbar goes up and down (as if it's busy connecting, or searching). Various browsers inform me "you are not connected to the internet"...

Dear Harry, Dear Jake,
usually CAP should not have any influence of the Wifi-Performance.
The "No Internet Connection" message is expected - since your Camera does not have any access to the internet your phone obviously has troubles to reach any web services through the camera Wifi. So for internet access your phone should fall back to your cellular data. That way you can access the web while being connected to the camera.
If you have trouble accessing the webremote try adding http:// in front of the address. So that would be http://mini-2xxx.local
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any trouble and let us know your exact setup.
Cheers,
Georg

I am curious, however, why the "antenna" symbol on the MacBook Pro goes up and down, as if it is in the process of connecting, but never actually seems to connect.
Am I wrong in trying to type in the IP address I see in the camera menu? What should I be typing into the browser on the Mac?
I will try again on Friday when I see the camera again...
Cheers,
Harry

Hey Harry,
at this moment I only have a mini at my desk - however after a longer connecting phase (when your macbook tries to get through to the internet) the symbol should settle into greyed-out bars with an exclamation mark.
to reach your camera you either type in:
http://mini-2xxxx.local (or http://mini-lf-3xxxx.local ) in your case
or the IP address displayed in (i) > NETWORK INFO
hope this helps!
Cheers, Georg
Edit: typos

I never followed up, as I sent my camera on a pilot that ultimately did not happen because of COVID-19. I will try again next week.
