Hello
Will ProRes 8:9 mode be enabled in SUP 4.0? In this mode does the camera desqueeze internally, and record a desqueezed HD file (1920x1080)? If so what is the type of desqueeze from 2160 to 1080 lines - is it resampling or simply discarding every other line? What is the likelihood of aliasing because of the desqueeze?

Yes, it will be available, but we're going to call it HD ana.. The camera takes care of the processing (cropping & desqueezing) for you in all ProRes recording modes. We don't use line skipping. The images are desqueezed using a proper scaling algorithm.
