Hi - not sure if this is the right place to ask - but in FCPX there's two choices:
Arri Log C and Arri Log C (3D LUT)

In nuke however the default is AlexaV3LogC

I find there's quite a difference between Arri Log C (3D LUT) and AlexaV3LogC - the first seems more pleasing to my clients...are these essentially the same LUT - and if so should they not look the same?

Hi Klaus,

AlexaV3LogC is a 1D LUT, so there is no color space conversion from ALEXA wide gamut to your display color space.
Have you tried AlexaV3Rec709, as described in our tech doc "ALEXA Color Pipeline for Nuke"?
