False Colour on LUT

Hi There,
I'm about to start shooting a show on monday on Alexa35. It's single camera, handheld, with me operating. It runs for almost 5 months.
I'm very keen to get false colour working with the LUT in the EVF. I'd be very happy even if that meant Rec709 in the EVF.
On previous generation Alexa's I check FC LOG for clipping, but use FC with the LUT for skintone/quick overall balance check.
I've heard a lot of rumours about why this is the way it is, but I'm assuming a fix is incoming. I'm really keen to get it sorted; are they any timescales for it? (I'd swap a 1/2 a stop of DR for it!).
Many thanks,
Benedict
