Auto Recording starts after frame rate change

I am facing this issue since yesterday whenever their is change from raw to proress or any change in frame rate camera starts to auto record and have to be manually stopped or sometimes rebooted. will factory reset solve this? and does factory reset involve installation of license files again?

Dear manshmedia,
which camera are you using, ALEXA Mini or ALEXA Mini LF?
Please try a factory reset, it does not "uninstall" anything. Not very likely, but also please inspect the record buttons on camera body and viewfinder. They might be stuck mechanically.
Last, but not least: do you have WiFi enabled? Somebody may "play" with the camera without you knowing it. Let´s hope this person will not erase your cards ...
