If I use 1frame for Timelapse shoot 40mins continuously recording any damage to the sensor

our timelapse modes are safe for your sensor, Yo can go 24 hours... 48 hours... as long as your memory card can hold.

Dear Mmbabu,

please make sure the exposure time is not too long, this degrades the image quality. I would suggest to shoot a test and critically review the results.
