Hello,
We are shooting with the Alexa 35 and we have noticed a sound coming from the body that's different from the fan usual noise. Higher than that.
It's a problem for the sound crew when we are doing close up shots.
Do you know what it could be and if it's fixable or not ?
Thx
(I can send a record if necessary)

Hi Celesteo,
since there are no other moving parts in the camera, what you describe probably suggests there is a damage of the fan´s bearing. I am afraid there is nothing for you to do but to send the camera to the nearest service station.
Best regards,
Andreas Berkl

Hello.
I also think the main problem is a damage of the fan's bearing. Have you replaced it yet?
