Trying to use an analog microforce w/ Heden motor M26T on Alura 18-80 and can’t reach the zoom gear of the lens. Using the large 1.65” (42mm) Heden gear. There don’t appear to be any larger diameter gears available from Heden. The motor fails to reach the lens facing either way at any point around its entire circumference. Anyone else run into this who has found a solution? Possibly 3rd party gear in larger size?

Hey Bain,

I can imagine that due to the uncommon shape of the Motor there are a couple of lenses where it becomes tricky to mount the motor correctly.

In the past I had good experiences with 3D Printed gears when there was the need for a gear that nobody is manufacturing.

The durability was good but sometimes, depending on the geometry from the original gear, it could become tricky to make a gear that runs perfectly straight :D
(That was something which was typically dependent from how the gear is mounted on that motor)

However, what I found out is that Duclos Lenses seems to manufacture gears that are larger in diameter than the ones manufactured by Hedén. Those may be the solution.

Have a great day,
Chris
