Hardware Error #80

Camera has come back from a shoot with hardware error #80 message - Error appears shortly after boot up and only clears temporarily with a reboot. Still records as usual and all functions seem to be working as intended.

Any ideas what error message #80 refers to?

As I know, it indicates a failure during the horizontal encoder check, it's possible something has gone wrong with the camera’s horizontal position encoder, or with the camera’s horizontal motor drive, unfortunately, engineering can't be for sure until the camera is examined.

Dear Oscar,

I'm not sure which horizontal encoders you are referring to, but I've never heard of the position sensors failing.
Plesse get in touch with ARRI Service and send them your log files to examine the errors.
