Frame Grabs in ART

I am simply trying to take frame grabs straight from Alexa 35 (via user assigned button) and put them into ART as I do with clips. I know I can create them from footage as a frame grab but for long boring reasons tried to do as Frame Grab in camera. They are on USB as frame grabs but cannot get them imported into ART to mess around with. Is it even possible anymore or is this a legacy left over from old Alexa days?

Hi Timney,
the framegrab formats form ALEXA 35 are not supported in ART, but you can do it using the backdoor:
Use MENU > SYSTEM > SENSOR > User Pixel Masking > Grab RAW Image

This writes a single frame inside an MXF container which you can open with ART.
