Hi-5/Hi-5 SX in same network

Hi there,
in the tech talks about the new Hi-5 SX there is mention of sharing metadata when a Hi-5 and a Hi-5 SX are in the same network. Does that mean they need to be on the same channel? Eg, if I want a DIT to pull iris with the SX, do I then have to disable the iris channel in my Hi-5? Or use an RF motor for iris on a different channel, but still connected to an LBUS port?
Bonus question, can the same be achieved with two Hi-5 handsets?

Thanks, Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Yes, you can connect a Hi-5 and a Hi-5 SX to the same camera and give the DIT Iris control on the SX. Just connect both units to the camera and disable the iris on the Hi-5.
And this does work with 2x Hi-5s too.

Best,
Igor
