Hello,
Shooting on the Alexa 35 and using the traditional B mounts. I found that it might be easier if we just use house power. Does anyone know if it’s dangerous to keep the b mount battery on camera while plugging in AC power? Or is that too much voltage? Let me know thank you!

Dear Jeffrey,
you can sefely use two power sources.

The manual (page 21) outlines the imput priority function:
Input Priority
In case both power inputs are used, the camera supports to set which input is to be used preferentially.
► Select MENU > System > Power > Priority to set the power input priority.

Following options are available:
  • Power In (PWR) - Always use the PWR input when power is available on BAT and PWR.
  • Onboard Battery (BAT) - Always use the BAT input when power is available on BAT and PWR.
  • Highest Voltage - Use the input supplying the higher voltage
