Cracker residue

Hello!

Does anyone know if the compartment that houses the internal ND's of the Amira is completely air tight or is it possible for small particles to make it's way in there?

I'm working on a long shoot that uses massive amounts of cracker smoke and this question just hit me one day when removing that dreadful cracker residue from all our lenses, filters and the protective glass inside the lens cavity.
Hoping it's sealed up well....

Erik,

The compartment of the FSND's is fully sealed. You should generally try to keep the time between lens changes to a minimum to avoid any such contamination. I would generally not touch the cover glass, unless you see a particle in the image that you want to remove.
