Arri Friends,

Greetings!

We are integrating Visual Effects into Alexa65 footage.

Some of our Alexa65 plates have a MetaData reading of arriT-Stop = 0.707107
This appears to be an inplausable T-Stop reading.

:-|

Are we misunderstanding this T-Stop reading ?

Would the MetaData report an invalid T-Stop reading
if the lens were not correctly connected to the Alexa65 ?

Please excuse our ignorance.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thank you.

What you are seeing is a linear value that needs to be converted into T-Stops.
Please go here http://www.arri.com/camera/alexa/downloads/ and get a copy of the
ARRI Metadata White Paper for ALEXA SUP 11.x - ALEXA65 SUP 1.0 - AMIRA SUP 2.0. (-> p. 31).

Hope this helps!
