Hello everyone,

answering a customer's question about copy tools, my list of tools looks like this:
Are there any more tools you are using? Simple R-Sync?
Any tipps or warnings regarding the tools above?

Best,
Jan

Beside that Resolve (v.12) features an Clone Tool which does parallel copy and writes MD5 checksums at least.
So far I could not copy with role folder structure (by hand).
Best, Hagen

Re: Resolve clone tool, has anyone managed to use it to copy from Codex VFS to disk? I've tried and fails with an error. M maybe its a permission thing.

Qi is a tool with tight ARRI integration which has been running Feature films and TV series for the last 18 months.

Here's a getting started tutorial:

Here's a video showing how we deal with interrupted transactions:

We are getting our tutorials out here:
http://www.quine.no/qi-download/qi-tutorials/

Qi is made for larger productions/institutions with multiple projects and multiple users on the same project
Qi has auto-transcode on Ingest for ARRI and also support for burn-in of in-camera LUTs for edit proxies and dailies on ingest.
Qi has become the primary ingest tool for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corp
Qi is free to use for now for non-enterprise users and you can download it at:

http://quine.no

OSX only for now.

Qi has become the Norwegian Broadcasting corps preferred ingest and logging tool
