Mirror image metadata bug

When I enable Mirror Image H+V in the camera, then I play the recorded ProRes clips in QuickTime X, the image is flipped correctly. But when I play these clips in other apps, such as DaVinci Resolve or Silverstack, they are flipped horizontally only. So I have to apply a vertical flip in software to make them look right. I'm using version 4.1.7.

With H+V flip active, an ALEXA XT will only set metadata flags that tell the player to transform the image with H + V flip.
An Amira and ALEXA Mini actually record an H-flipped image, and only the V-flip is set as metadata flag.

Resolve and other post-production tools, except QuickTime X do not look at these Apple specific playback metadata.
That's why you see an image that is only H-flipped.
