Hi, I have some technical issues regarding the best and most effective use of L10-C LED 3200K.
Consider that we are going to use this type of unit in a studio building of 700M2 and a height of 12m.
This studio is used to produce Live TV show or Recorded program with presence of people above 150.
There are 2 fixed stages for the showman and his guesses and 3 round seated location for audiences.

Q1. Is it possible to use L10-C to supply the required lux for each stage?
In some cases, the lighting will be positioned in their highest level (10 to 11m).
Q2. If Possible, how many of L10-C for each stage with 4 attendance?
Q3. What is the required standard LUX-distance for each subject to prevent lack of lighting while live show?

My Best Regards

Hi yavar21,

There are a few tools available to help you decided at what distance ARRI fixtures need to be placed to get optimal light intensities.

First, there is the Photometric App for iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photome ... 09338?mt=8

Second, is the Photometric Calculator (web based): http://calc.arri.de/calculator

To answer your questions directly:
Q1: At 10m, the L10-C (@ 3200K & Full Flood) produces 175 lx. At 12m, 122lx. In Full Spot, 10m = 1300 lx and 12m = 903 lx.

Q2: I'm not quite sure what you mean by this question, but usually it is up to the lighting designer how many and in what position the lights will be.

Q3: This all depends on the what light levels you want. Some cameras are very sensitive and you don't need a great deal of light. But some lighting designers want to have higher lux levels. This is subjective and up to you.

I hope this helps and if you have more questions, feel free to post them here. Thank you.
