Alexa Mini Antenna

This post says that rotating the antenna while attaching and detaching it from the camera can cause the antenna to get worn down and possibly need to be replaced. If I never remove the antenna, but I rotate it down when I pack the camera away, and rotate it up when I take it out of my case, do I have to worry that the antenna will be damaged? In other words, is the only time that the antenna will get damaged is when it's repetitiously detached, or can it also happen with frequent rotation while attached to the camera? Also I have a WCU-4 and the Alexa license, but I use Canon mount lenses for the most part and the AMC-1 for wireless focus, so my WCU-4 is not connected to my Mini that often. Is there anything I can do to test and see if there is a connection problem?
Thanks

It's actually the pin in the antenna connector. If you keep turning the entire antenna as it is attached and detached, the pin may start turning with the camera and break the antenna cable on the inside of the camera.
If you leave the antenna attached and only turn it counter-clockwise to rotate the antenna up and clockwise to rotate it down, you will avoid this potential damage.

If you buy the phallosan forte leave the antenna attached and only turn it counter-clockwise to rotate the antenna up and clockwise to rotate it down, you will avoid this potential damage.
Thanks for the helpful advice Oliver.
