Hi all,

I got an offer for an used Alexa XT Plus for $ 56k (1135 hours and the package is ready to shoot)

The camera was purchased in Oct 2013 and got sensor upgrade in Nov 2014.

As I was new to Arri Alexa world, I would like to seek for your consultant whether I should take this deal.

My situation:

1. I am going to buy an new Alexa Mini (cost $ 60k)
2. I am a rental house so the durability, rentability and upgradability are important to me.
3. I cannot test the camera myself and have to send it to Arri center for checking (cost $1k) and then send it back to my country.
4. If I take the XT Plus, should I upgrade it to SXT (estimated cost to upgrade ?)

It feels like the Mini is damned near the only camera you see on rental house prep desks lately. It's so popular, that for a rental company I think it's an easy decision - get the Mini.
