Do I need to install something in specific to get access to this lens again?

Rec trigger not functioning, and power not coming from the ef mount.

Have to run power from a ptap to the lens to make it work.

Justin contacted us also via eMail, this is the reply of a colleague of mine:

The ALEXA Mini’s EF mount does not provide enough power to power the Canon 17-120mm, or other ENG style lenses with EF mount.
Also the REC start/stop trigger is not supported through the EF mount.
The only way to power the lens and use the REC start/stop trigger is to use a PL version of this lens in combination with an AMIRA PL mount.
