Every time I download cards from either Alexa Mini and Amira cameras there is always a .ale file along with the video clips. Do these files have any function when editing in Premiere? Everything I was able to find online was related to Avid Media Composer.

Hi there,

ALE files (Avid Log Exchange) are sidecar metadata files used to import camera specific information into Avid Media Composer.
