Alexa Mini Arriraw MXF not working in Premiere Pro??

I was pretty surprised yesterday to find that Premiere Pro doesn't recognize Arriraw MXF files...
I've updated to 2017 and still no joy but there's no info anywhere on this so hoping there is an easy work around?

Hi there,

You can find a list of supported processing tools here; http://www.arri.com/camera/alexa_mini/w ... _workflow/
Unfortunately Premiere is not on the list yet, I'd imagine Adobe hasn't provided support for it yet (perhaps the digital workflow guys can confirm this.)
In the meantime you can use ARRIRAW Converter or any other from that list.

Yes, Igor you are right.
Adobe has not yet integrated you latest SDK which would enable them to read the MXF/ARRIRAW.

Wow, that's surprising for Adobe... Is there some kind of political hold up?
I Mean the Red Helium sensor just came out and it already has support?

Honestly never imagined that this would be an issue, do you have an eta or any other info?
Scared that I have to edit the film I've been shooting in Resolve... I hear it's good but my experiences have been clunky compared to Premiere Pro.

I just want to assure you that there is no political holdup! We had huge backlog of formats to support in the last year and we are currently working on Alexa Mini support. Will update here when we have more to share.

That's great to hear! I just shot 2 weeks on Mini in MXF arriraw and am about to start editing.
Do you have a beta available for me to use? I'm a little nervous about having to Edit in Resolve...
