Anyone else having issues with importing Alexa Mini media files into premiere pro 2018? It crashes every time I try and import the footage folder. A work around I found is to just find the footage highlight the clips and import all clips.
Just wondering if anyone else is struggling with it.

Dear Josh,
as of right now MXF/ARRIRAW is not yet supported in Premiere.
Also our *.ari single-Frame ARRIRAW format does not offer best support.
We recommend a offline editorial with ProRes 422HQ clips and re-online MXF/ARRIRAW or regular ARRIRAW in your mastering/grading session.
Cheers,
Jan

Hi!
This is not an issue with Arriraw, but an issue with the indexing files on the card. I used to just import the whole content of the card to Premiere, and then Premiere would simply state that some files were not compatible and only the prores files were imported. But now since I think Premiere CC 2017 (and in 2018) the program crashes if I do so.
Solution: import only the movie files, not the indexing files. No crashing!
No idea why this happens but that's the solution.
Best,
Lauri
