Power priority

I have a 20 amp hour 12v battery I engage on the camera with a power cable. I like to have a on-board battery on the camera for back-up power. Can I set the Amira to use the remote battery first, which is a lower voltage than the on-board battery.

Dear Jim,

I/we understand your usecase but I'm sorry to tell that there's no option to switch the power priority.
The higher voltage wins.

If I build the battery in 24v series does the Amira draw less amps at 24v than 12v?

If you answer remember I am a DP and know little about the difference of amps and amp hours.
