ProRes 4444 HQ Color Depth

Hello,
I am asking you if the ProRes 4444 HQ format on the Mini LF camera,
can record below 12 bit color depth.
I got information from the editor that the files are supposedly 10 bit, hence my surprise.
because from what I know, the native record of this prores format is 12 bits.
If I may be wrong, please correct me.

Hello, yes we feed 12bit into the ProRes encoder and ProRes 4444 and ProRes 4444XQ are 12 bit codecs. ProRes itself is doing a DCT and it's a variable bitrate codec.
I assume some tools are misinterpreting this information metadata-wise.

There was another request my colleague already answered some time ago.
