Blackmagic's Resolve 18.5 beta supports de-bayering ARRIRAW or MXF/ARRIRAW to ARRI Wide Gamut 4 / opening REVEAL Color Science for all ALEXA and AMIRA cameras.
Please note: ProRes LogC3 cannot be remapped ot ARRI Wide Gamut 4.

Setting up a project for de-bayering to AWG4/LogC4 is easy:

Change the Camera Raw setting to "Project".

Now all ARRIRAW footage gets automatically de-bayered to ARRI Wide Gamut 4/LogC4. You can easily intercut with ALEXA 35 and use the same output LUT.

Notive that your footage will appear darker due to the encoding of LogC4. I used our ALEXA Mini Sample Footage for this demo.

This can also be done on a per-clip base using the clip's individual Camera Raw settings.

Is this the best workflow for the Mini LF or should I be transcoding in ART before bringing Mini LF footage into Resolve?

Thanks, Dave

Dear Dave,

that mainly depends if you'd prefer working with ProRes or if you require the full features of RAW.
The workflow within Resolve is established.

Please also see our Workflow Guideline.
