Hey y'all,
Perhaps I'm entirely scrolling past it but I've done a fair bit of digging in camera + in the manual .pdf and haven't found any evidence of ability to enable waveform monitor on the EVF.
Am I missing something or is this not currently possible on the 35?
Best,
Chris

Dear Chris,
sorry, ALEXA 35 does not have a waveform monitor and, to my best knowledge, there are no plans to implement this. The reason behind this (applies to zebra as well): exposure is determined log-based rather than monitoring-based. And logarithmic signals are extremely hard to interpret on common waveform scales.
Best regards,
Andreas Berkl

Long term Arri camera use/owner also wondering why all of a sudden there's no more Zebra and waveform w Alexa 35? In doc production especially zebra super helpful seeing the image w superimposed/adjustable exposure meter.
Oig feature of Arri cameras was always the logical/useful approach to exposure metering in general. Please bring it back. Thank you.
