Metadata inconsistencies between camera and post

We recently wrapped a shoot using the ALEXA Mini LF (SUP 7.1), and we're encountering some strange inconsistencies in metadata when importing the footage into DaVinci Resolve Studio (v18.6). Specifically, the white balance and shutter angle values occasionally differ from what was set on the camera during shooting.

We've confirmed the settings were consistent on set, and this issue only affects certain clips. Has anyone experienced similar metadata mismatches? Could it be related to the way the footage is being offloaded or the card reader used?

Hi Joseph,

could you please check if this problems persists in Resolve 19.1.4? There was a problem with ALEXA 35 shutter angle before Resolve version 19.1.4, which is fixed not in Resolve 19.1.4.
In case you still see the problem with ALEXA Mini LF files and latest Resolve release, please send us an E-Mail to digitalworkflow@arri.de with a short explanation and screenshots of your issue.
We can try to reach out Blackmagic.
