16x9 Anamorphic Desqueeze for high speed 1.78 deliver

Struggling to get my head around this, 16x9, 2x desqueeze in-camera option seems to be greyed out on Alexa mini all menus.

Problem is that shooting 2xana lenses at highspeed 100-200fps, whilst cropping for 1,78 does not allow to deliver 1920 x 1080 in any recording mode except 2k 16x9 without loosing resolution?

Currently making framelines and desqueezing on external monitors seems to be the work around?

Am I overlooking something, does this render 1.33 glass not an option on the mini? Only other option i guess would be to upscale 2k 2.39 to fit the 1080?

Dear Heniloux,

what's wrong with "HD Ana." - you can go up to 120fps.
Also "2.39 2K Ana." goes up to 120fps.

Should not be greyed-out. Try doing a factory reset first, set the Recording mode, then the ftps.

I see I was silly and didnt remember/explained the question correctly

My problem was that the client was uncertain of whether they were delivering for 1.77 or 2.39 so to accommodate both at 200fps - 2k seemed like the only option - but the desqueeze was greyed out

looking at the problem again it would seem to have cropped the hd ana to 2.39 wouldve been more advantageous

ill do some resetting next time i get my hands on the camera but pretty sure it forced the greyed desqueeze option in 16x9 sensor mode
