Slightly confused!
We have a new Alexa Mini on v3.1, our other cameras are on v3.0. If we wanted to use the new camera's viewfinder on the older cameras, would they need to be on v3.1?
thanks

Hi,
there should be no issues using the new viewfinder with cameras running the older firmware.
for the changes from SUP 3.0 to 3.1 please read the following information from the release notes:

SUP 3.0 and SUP 3.1 are identical in functionality. Upgrading from SUP 3.0 to SUP 3.1 is only recommended upon the advice of ARRI service.
SUP 3.1, in comparison to SUP 3.0, only contains a minor adjustment for a recent MVF-1 viewfinder iteration including a modified hardware component. There is no difference in operation and functionality between the current and previous MVF-1 viewfinder iteration. Installing SUP 3.1 is always safe for both MVF-1 viewfinder iterations.
