There's a small number of AEM-1 out in the market which are not holding gain level settings after a power cycle with Software Version V1.0N
If this is the case, please perform the following steps step-by-step:
1. Menu > SETUP > UPDATE
( The AEM-1 will enter: SERVICE menu)
2. Confirm “UPDATE WITH FIRMWARE” with “yes”
(Note that this leads to the update menu and not to the start of the
update.)
3. Now you are in the update menu. Go to “RESET” and confirm “ERASE CONFIG”
with “yes”.
(This will reset the configuration.)
After that the settings will be stored over reboot.
