Recovering and Repairing Media

Hi,

I was on set this wee-end. The editor was there so he took care of the back-up but he had a problem while offloading one card. He ended-up initializing the card on the pc by mistake so we lost the data.
I managed to recover a great part of it using recoverit, but it won't open.
Does anyone know how i can repair them?

I would suggest to give Grau Videorepair (https://main.grauonline.de/video-repair-tool/) a try. We found it to be pretty clever in recovering "damaged" material in the past.

You can test it for free, but it will only output half of a clip. As a porof of concept this however should be enough.
