Corrupted clip unplayable. Any recourse?

I have a clip from an Alexa Mini that won't play in VLC or ART, and isn't recognized at all by Resolve. After searching on the forum I saw a recovery program named Grau GmbH recommended as a good option. Unfortunately that program has had zero success in getting this clip to play, or to recover any of it. Are there other options available to me or shall I begin swallowing pride and writing uncomfortable emails?

Hi seanemer,
is the clip still on the CFast card? If so, insert it into the camera. The camera will try to recover the clip to it's best ability.
If this does not work, how big is the clip? Could you upload it somewhere so we can give it a try?
Best regards,
Andreas Berkl

Hi Andreas! It is no longer on a Cfast, though I could definitely transfer it back as I copied the entire contents not just the .mov file. It is unfortunately 165GB (a long interview) so not feasible to upload for you to check, unless you happen to be located in Burbank haha
