I see that the Amira generates an .ale.
Is a FCP7 .xml also possible?

Dear Gunleik,
I'm afraid to say but FCP 7 *.xmls have been (as the software itself) retired for AMIRA and ALEXA Mini.
Regards,
Jan

Dear Jan
Thanks
We solved it through writing our own @ingest, when ingesting Amira files.
Why???
We work with a Dailies app that needs metadata to display the Dailies, and the script reports aren't available at ingest.
But making a FCP7 .xml with basic metadata that gets refreshed later works fine.
First time (not personally, but with our tools) building a full AMIRA workflow now, from metadata capture to logging to editorial to VFX conforms and DAILIES. for a multi-season TV series.
It is pretty fun.
