Trying to trigger the Amira to record with my HD Video lens? It doesn't seem to work? It's multi pin control cable is plugged in and is working, but record button on zoom trigger will not work? Is this possible? Or do I need to go into the menu to program this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here's the info on my Canon BCTV Zoom Lens. Using Arri B4 Mount.
Canon eIFxs J17 e X 7.7 B4 IRSD s X 12
7.7 - 131 mm
Conformity Mark N118
Just trying to trigger a record from the lens itself, not the camera body.

Dear Bob,
please have a look at you lens' manual - there might be dip-switches which have to be in a certain position to enable the Start/Stop.
An other operation you could try: Power on the AMIRA with lens attached & connected and perform a " Reset All" of the lens (I did not find a manual for your lens, but that should be noted there as well).
Kind regards,
Jan
