Alexa Mini recording 3 extra empty tracks of audio

When I record audio to the Alexa Mini and import it into Premiere there are 2 tracks with sound (how I would expect) and 3 extra empty tracks, so there is 1 video track stacked on 5 tracks. It's not that hard to delete them but it is annoying. Any way to get them to not be recorded in the first place? What are they for?

Hey Noah,
That's AMIRA an default.
When audio is enabled, all 5 tracks (2+2+BT whisper track) will be recorded.
Cheers,
Jan

Thanks Jan,
So there is no reason why the Mini records these tracks and there is no way to disable them? I don't understand why that would be. Can we request this be an option in the next SUP?

Hey Noah,
yes, there is no explicit reason. I've already logged your request, but I can not make any promises.
There are multiple requests on the table for future SUPs.
Best,
Jan

I would like to second this request. The extra audio tracks create post-workflow related issues for me when making proxies in Adobe Premiere. I have a work around but it would be much easier if I could select to only record the audio tracks that are needed or none at all.
